Well, I'm all blogged out now. That's 12 posts in one day, I think I've filled you in on everything here so far. Hope you enjoy reading them, I'm off to bed now as the housework is calling tomorrow, I do wish I had a maid or a magic wand or my name was Mary Poppins!! No chance!! lol!! I will try and catch up on everyone's blog shortly.
Nighty nite folks!
PS I've taken off my 'annoying' music, Samantha!! lol, Let me know if anyone misses it!!

Secret Visitor.

Well I have saved the best until last. Over the past two weeks we have had a special visitor in our garden. Last week we were looking out of our new doors when we observed this:
She spent ages washing and cleaning the little chap/chapess and they then settled down for a nap at the top of our lawn. The pics are a bit blurred as they were moving and I didn't want to disturb them. We have come to the conclusion that they may be living at the very top of our garden under a pile of cut branches from last year. We are loath to explore for fear of frightening her away from the cub. I'm wondering if the scraggy old fox we saw a month or so ago was Dad!
Well last night, lo and behold, the little one decided to explore right outside our patio doors.
This is the best photo yet, it was right outside the window last night!
It came again briefly tonight but went before I could snap it!
We've seen more wildlife in our city garden than we've seen for ages lately! How cute is he/she. We hope the Mum stays safe - any idea how long they take before they leave home as we really need to sort out the top of the garden this summer!

My Beautiful Flowers.

How they looked when I unwrapped them.
This is them today!
Stunning!
I just had to share with you this beautiful bouquet I received from a lovely TA who has been working in my class since September to help me with our class, for all the help which 'I've' given 'her' as she finished on Friday. How kind is she and how beautiful are they. Many thanks for everything Dionne. Hope she reads this!

Tilda with Flower.

Tilda in closeup.
A 6x6 square birthday card using a Tilda with Flower stamp from Magnolia and paper from the Basic Grey 'Eva' collection. Image mounted on oval Nestabilities as before and paper punched with a Martha Stewart 'Scalloped Dot' border punch. The flower is a hydrangea from Prima. This is the first Tilda stamp I have coloured with markers and I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Simple card using Fairy Doodles Stamps.

Stamp detail.
This is a little card I made for a little girl in my class who has left us to live in Hungary. It's a small 5x5 square. I made the background paper on a site here:
http://www.freecraftdownloads.co.uk/makeyourown/#
I'm still using copics and promarkers for colouring. I think this stamp suits this method well.
The butterflies are a Martha Stewart double embossed 'Monarch Butterfly' punch (medium).

Card for Victoria.

This is a birthday card I made for Matt's girlfriend Victoria. I used my Gorjuss girl stamp and coloured it again with Promarkers and Copics. I used Basic Grey paper for the background from an 'Eva 'pad. The front of the card opens up to reveal a sentiment while the verse is inside as usual. Flowers and brad from Poppicraft, ribbon from Hobbycraft.

Penny Black 'penny slider' card.

This is the card I made for my friend Carol, check out her lovely cards on her blog in my bloglist. I wanted to make something a bit different so chose a slider. The background image is the same stamp used twice (hence the two suns!!) Both stamps were watercoloured. I used 2 pennies for the slider but found I couldn't use round sticky pads as the hedgy somersaulted all the way along! I used square pads instead but unfortunately this made it a bit stiff to slide!! Sorry Carol! The greeting is from 'Elzybells'.

Penny Black 'Fanfare' Birthday card.

Flowers in detail.
I made this card for my friend Pauline, a Penny Black stamp lover! (She bought this stamp afterwards!) I stamped and embossed in black powder and then coloured the flowers and leaves loosely with watercolours. Glitter accents were added to the flowers. I made a background panel the same way and mat and layered onto purple and gold cardstock.

Another Gorjuss Girl Card.

Image close up.
This is a 'proper' card!! I made this for my lovely friend Karen. The background paper is from Basic Grey 'Two Scoops' punched with a 'Scallop Dot' punch from Matha Stewart and the image is a Gorjuss Girl from 'Funkykits' which I coloured with a combination of Promarkers and Copics. I'm really enjoying working with these pens at the moment as I like the way they are more vibrant than water colours. Image mounted on 'Nestabilities' petite scallop ovals and a flower from Poppycrafts.

Gorjuss Girl 30th Birthday.

This is a really quick large A4 card I made for my class to sign to give to a colleague from them so it's not finished that well as I was in a hurry. I coloured the image with Promarkers and the flowers were simple cutouts from a 'Wings and Flowers' cd!
